As a Spanish chef and a lover of luxury experiences, I recently visited La Masia in lovely Seville for a stay that left me with mixed feelings on the value it offers. The welcoming receptionist made a lasting impression by swiftly accommodating my furry companion with a room boasting a beautiful terrace. The hotel's prime location offers a stunning view of the beach, and the presence of a lovely pine tree in the dining room added a unique touch to the ambiance.However, my experience was tainted by the lack of flexibility regarding pets, as I encountered difficulty checking in with my dog despite having a reservation. The inflexibility of the staff in reallocating rooms to accommodate a late arrival also left me questioning the level of customer service.In terms of amenities, La Masia offers basic comforts like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, but for the price point, I would have expected a higher level of service and flexibility.
